Marilyn J. Mcleod (San Diego)
Anna Marie is a wise and wonderfully effective coach, and it comes through in her book.

She shares practical examples and asks questions that help the reader understand the dynamics of a situation in order to meet with success.

It's just the right size to carry around and read a section on the train or on a quick break.

It's a very worthwhile book.

Developing Women Leaders has many practical tips to help men and women understand how to develop their leadership skill set. This is especially important in today's economy; it gives the reader an edge in any job market.

5 out of 5 stars Pragmatic Reading for those who want to develop women leaders   February 23, 2010
Marianne Lepre-Nolan (Somers, NY USA)
So, you need to develop the women in your organization? This is a particularly helpful book. If you don't have time to read it cover to cover, the highlighted "Good To Know" boxes that are set-off from the regular type are quick, easy to digest knowledge bytes. If you have time for just one chapter, go to Chapter 5, "What Managers Can Do to Develop Talented Women". But do get this book - it is extremely well researched and written by Anna Marie Valerio, Ph.D. so the research is spot on.
